Husband and Wife Fishing Team

Can't wait until the warm weather starts approaching us here in Louisiana.  We used to fish when it was ice on the eyes of the fishing rods.  I guess we got older and wiser!  Our bodies can't handle that anymore, unless we have a tournament that day.  We did manage to go fishing last weekend and do a little playing around with some shiner fishing in the middle of our bass fishing.  Just nice getting on the water!! 

It is time to start getting your reels relined and your baits sorted out.  The spawn should start a little later than usual with the colder winter that we had.  Probably around the last few weeks of February or the first week of March should be the good spawning season.  Just remember to try the catch and release when you have a bass that is spawing.  We will be at the Denham Springs Bass Pro starting February 13th for their Spring Bass Classic.
